Collection: Ortho-K night time lenses

What is ortho-k?

Ortho-k, also known as orthokeratology, involves customised contact lenses that reshape the cornea temporarily for vision improvement. It is a secure and reversible method that enables spectacle-free vision enjoyment and is efficient in slowing down myopia progression for children.

How it works

Ortho-K lenses are gas-permeable contacts shaped and fitted to each individual's eyes. Worn at night, they reshape the cornea during sleep, enhancing vision. When removed, the cornea retains its reshaped state, correcting vision without spectacles.

  • All-day clear vision without spectacles

With regular use, you can achieve clear vision without the need for daytime eyewear. Also a good alternative to LASIK or any other refractive surgeries.

  • Reversible and secure correction

Ortho-K is a non-surgical treatment that is reversible and can be discontinued at any time. The cornea will revert to its original shape and refractive power will gradually return once lens wear is stopped.

  • Avoid dry eyes

Wearing contacts during the day may lead to dry eye symptoms. The orthokeratology contacts are worn only at night, minimizing discomfort.

  • Control myopia progression

Ortho-K slows myopia progression in children by preventing eyeball elongation. If you're weary of increasing your prescription every optometrist visit, it's worth exploring orthokeratology.
